Today the town is renowned for hosting a beautiful white sandy bay in between Punta Rossa and Capo San Vito. Egadi Islands

Egadi Archipelago, composed by the Island Favignana, Levanzo and Merettimo is a flourishing mix of nature and heritage.


Favignana 

is the largest island of the archipelago and the nearest to Trapani Port. The small village offers beautiful heritage sites such as the ancient Castle of Favignana, Baroque Churches, Deep Caves, Mediterranean Tonnara and many others. However, Favignana Island is renowned for its beautiful mix of hidden rock and sandy bays with limpid water. You can visit the island by hiring a bike or a scooter. The surface is very smooth and made of soft flat rocks, so you can easily visit the island by renting a bike or electric scooter.  



Levanzo 

is the smallest island of the Egadi Islands and is the most beautiful place. The characteristic of Levanzo is its white waterside houses overlooking the suggestive small ancient port. The shortest bay is Cala Fredda with a small rocks beach and limpid waters. Near the forest, you can find instead Cala Minnola. However, Caletta del Faraglione is considered one of the best beaches in Italy. To explore all the coast, you better rent a small boat with a skipper at Favignana, Levanzo, or Marettimo ports. 



Marettimo 

is the most remote-secret Island left untouched for centuries. According to Note Verticale, Marettimo is "Itaca", the homeland of Ulisse from Odyssea. Marettimo Island is a beautiful place to visit in Trapani especially for hiking lovers that want to enjoy the peaceful and natural setting.
