Poggiareale 


Poggioreale is a little village in the Province of Trapani, in western Sicily, and is considered a ghost town after the earthquake in 1968. The waves have destroyed the village and killed 200 people. The village, based on agriculture, farms, and cultivation, was built kilometres away from the dangerous area subject to earthquakes. 

Castelvetrano


Cstelvetrano is a town in the Province of Trapani, Sicily, in Italy from where you can easily visit the archaeological greek temples of Selinunte. The economy of the village is mainly based on farming, agriculture, and cultivation. Castelvetrano is also popular for its production of black flour bread. You can find it in any local "panificio" (bakery). 

Salemi 



Salemi is another small town in the Province of Trapani, Sicily, in Italy, and is popular of its characteristic of an Arab-medieval village. In recent years, Salemi has become part of the project "case a 1 euro" (1 euro to buy a house). The project was a scheme launched by the representative of the Region, aiming at sustainable development, urban regeneration, and tourism increase.  

Mozia

Mozia is a small archipelago located in the Province of Trapani, on the west coast of Sicily, in Italy. It has become popular in recent years thanks to its Stagnone Natural Reserve lagoon. The lagune benefits from a magnificent salt mine view combined with the colours of the sunrise and sunset.
